The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Mumbai in partnership with the Ontario Trade & Investment Offices in India and the Quebec Government Office in India, are participating at the 27th edition of Medical Fair India to promote Canadian capabilities in the life sciences sector.

Medical Fair India https://www.medicalfair-india.com/ is a signature event for the Indian healthcare sector focused on medical technologies, digital health, diagnostics, laboratory technology, hospital and health centre infrastructure. The event will be held in person at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from May 20-22, 2022.

Participating Canadian companies will have an opportunity to showcase their technology, products, services and solutions to the life sciences industry in India, develop new relationships with customers, and will have access to high-level contacts to gain deeper insights about the market.

Who Should Register

Canadian companies who are clients of the TCS doing business in the Asia Pacific Region and have innovative products or service offerings in the field of medical technology & equipments; biotechnology; diagnostics; laboratory and analytical equipments; hospital infrastructure, clinical equipments and surgical instruments; rehabilitation; wireless health/mobile health/health IT. Canadian companies that are new to the TCS are also welcomed to join.

Details about the Mumbai Program

Participating Canadian companies will have an opportunity to showcase their company offerings during the three-days conference and exhibition from May 20 – 22, 2022. The TCS and its partners will host a the Canada Pavilion which will highlight Canada’s presence in the local market. Canadian Trade Commissioners will be available to provide on-the-ground assistance and introductions to local contacts.

TCS support and activities include:

• Canada Pavilion to showcase participating Canadian companies and host B2B meetings

• Dedicated space to display marketing materials (i.e. brochure, logos, video clips)

• Coordinate speaking opportunities with conference organizers

• Facilitate B2B meetings with trade show participants

• Networking event at the trade show or neighbouring venue (TBC)

• Ontario and Quebec are the partner provinces with TCS for this trade show. Provincial representative offices in India are supporting clients with additional in-market activities and business programs.

How to Get Involved and What are the Costs

Step 1: Registration

Places are limited and will be offered to companies with business in the key areas of interest (mentioned above) on a first come first served basis. Participating Canadian companies are required to pay a nominal participation of CAD $250.

Note: participating Canadian companies are responsible for their own travel and logistics arrangement to Mumbai.

Step 2: Planning and Logistics

Participating Canadian companies are required to provide the following information by April 20, 2022.

•         Confirmed names and relevant details on company participants in order for show organizers to issue invitation letter to apply for Indian visas

•         Company profile form/questionnaire for TCS to facilitate B2B meetings

•         Signed agreement and payment form to confirm company participation and  participation fees

Step 3: Marketing Material

Participating Canadian companies are required to provide digital marketing materials (i.e. company profile, graphics, video, photos) in English language by May 5, 2020. Material specifications will be sent once participation is confirmed.
